Sisters Walking in Christ is a non-profit, faith-based organization comprised of a body of women with high scholastic, ethical and moral standards who assist children and families by providing services to the community through its programs. The group also targets awareness of women’s issues and provides a high level of guidance and mentorship to youth in the community through its daughter organization, Little Sisters Walking in Christ.
Little Sisters Walking in Christ, also known as L.S.W.I.C., was founded on November 29, 2007 upon recognizing the value and importance of creating a sisterhood among young girls in order to preserve the integrity of future women leaders and role models. L.S.W.I.C. is not a church group, youth ministry, or denominational organization; rather, it is a community-wide organization based on the basic Christian principles, teachings, and philosophies of which are still evident for today’s society. As Sisters Walking in Christ provide fundamental leadership to girls between the tender and influential ages of 10 and 19 years of age, we hope to have a positive impact on the lives of young girls and their future young girls, creating a generational thirst for successful and empowered females.
